A project on Safe and Hygienic Life Style for School Children to ensure a comprehensive approach in generating awareness and improving over all health and nutrition status among school children is initiated. Resource material will be developed in the form of poster books, pamphlets, comic audio and video clipping on food and water safety and quality and hygiene.
A project on Awareness generation and motivation of vendors and customers to improve safety ad quality of Street Foods is started. The project was planned in consonance with nutritional counselling programme of VP. The programme will develop communication material in raising awareness on issues of food & water safety in public places. Two preliminary meetings were organized to understand the need for ground level interventions in awareness generation & motivation & training involving all the concerned stake holders related to safe and hygienic food sold in public places.
