About the Author
Dr. S, V. Eswaran, Visiting Scientist, Regional Centre for Biotechnology (DBT-UNESCO), Faridabad & served as Head, Chemistry Department and Dean (Academics), St. Stephen’s College (44 years) and as Principal, Deshbandhu College, Delhi. He has received numerous teaching awards (Dr. Abdul Kalam Lifetime Achievement Award, INSA teacher award, “Teacher of Eminence”, DU distinguished teacher award, CRSI Best teacher award). He has done research work in Munich, Heidelberg, Karlsruhe, Goettingen, TU Delft, OSU and Brown Universities. He is a DAAD-UGC fellow and received the AEC-PG Scholarship. He has also been a Local Commissioner/ expert in several patent cases. He has several research papers and patents to his credit. He has also published a collection of tales and anecdotes about scientists, entitled “Grandpa’s Nobel Tales”.
