Alok Mukherjee:
Dr. Gupta its realy interesting to get certain quarries solved. Thanks
Dr.V.K.Gupta:
Gupta the HIV infected mother can pass infection to unborn child during child birth however, there are lesser chances of passing the infection during the breast feed.

Is any remedy finding to AIDS anywhere in the world ?
Dr.M.Ravindranath:
What is the % success of cure. Some homeopaths claim to have a non-failing cure for AIDS. Alok Mukherjee: What do people with HIV need to know about hepatitis?
Dr.V.K.Gupta:
Dr Ravindranath there is no cure of HIV infection it is lifelong infection. However, some Doctors claim for cure of HIV which is by giving the drugs which suppress the immune system of body and person is tested as HIV – because of no antibodies being present.
dr.rupa:
 hello sir
Alok Mukherjee:
How can people with HIV and AIDS pay for their medical care?

Dr.M.Ravindranath:
You mean by supressing the immune system HIV goes undetected
Dr.V.K.Gupta: Alok the hepatitis is trasmitted by cantaminated food water, and infected syrings and needles and rarely by mother to unborn child. There are no extra chances of hepatitis in people suffereing from HIV  Dr.V.K.Gupta: Ravindranath Yes

Alok Mukherjee:
If an adolescent gets tested for HIV, will the parents or guardians be told about the test result? Dr.V.K.Gupta:  Gore please contact me at my email :drvkg@indiatimes.com
Dr.V.K.Gupta:
Alok yes if the test is carried out after it is being asked by the person concerned . But before testing the counselling is done at various govt health agencies at voluntary counciling and testing centres.
Alok Mukherjee: Can an employer require that a job applicant be tested for HIV?
hello:
 hello sir
Dr.M.Ravindranath:
One fundamental question Dr.Gupa. Vaccines have been developed for various life threatening diseases from time to time. But new and more complex viruses are coming up despite more conscious and better efforts on sanitation. Why is it so
Meenakshi:
Or agar yeh dono alag alag condition hai to kese pata chalega?
Dr.V.K.Gupta:  Meenakshi HIV infection is 1st to occure and then after approximately 10 to 15 yrs the same person gets AIDs in the form of various diseases related to immune system. i.e the staring point is HIV and person is getting AIDS may be the terminal point
hello:
 what types Bone Problems occures
rkyadav: sir actully i want to know can i test my blood for HIV + , whether iit is effected or not, & what is called this testing
rkyadav:
another question is for that test how much i have to pay ?
hello:
 what is Osteoporosis
Dr.V.K.Gupta:  Dr Ravindranath the HIV vaccine is not succesfully developed because the virus mutates vary rapidly and the vacccine developed becomes useless for the current use. but for the other diseases the bactria or the viruses are more stable.
Alok Mukherjee:
When does a person who has tested HIV positive is diagnosed with AIDS. What should be the person’s CD4 cell count.
Dr.V.K.Gupta:
CD4 cell count is less than 200 is a critical point when he should be given antiretroviral drugs.
Alok Mukherjee:
Can a person who is HIV negative or of undetermined serostatus may be diagnosed with AIDS Dr.V.K.Gupta:  Yadav the blood is tested for the presence of antibodies against virus by doing elisa test in most of the places. But other test are also available which are not done routely.
Dr.V.K.Gupta:
Alok the person who is HIV + can get AIDS.
rkyadav:
 thank u sir
M.M.Gore:

Dr.V.K.Gupta:
Gore the various agencies are already tackling the problem of HIV infection by various means specially the awarness about the HIV infection and behavious change in various high risk groups. However the agencies like UN AIDS and WHO are alrady tkaing care of this aspects.
hello: Where did HIV come from?
Alok Mukherjee:
Why should HIV-infected persons be concerned about coinfection with HCV?
Dr.V.K.Gupta:
HIV AIDs can be decreased by taking various measures suggested by National AIDS control organisation under GOVT India However if we take these measures seriously it may require another 30 yrs approx. when we can say that there are no HIV AIDS cases in our country.
hello:
 ans plz
Dr.V.K.Gupta:

hello:
how it transfer from monkeys to humn person
Dr.V.K.Gupta:  I want to inform everybody online that HIV is transmitted by three routes i.e sexual route, infected blood/syrings and needs & mother to her unborn child. The infection is life long and it can be treated by giving antivial drugs and there no cure and no vaccine against HIV. However if there is any further question pls send it to the email :drvkg@indiatimes.com
